ODIN Casting Solutions was founded in 2021 to support a Scandinavian OEM with MEGA casting in Europe. So far, 3 plants have been built and we have been joined by team members with senior experience in large structural and thin wall castings for American, Chinese and European OEMs.
Our team associates in Europe and China consist of:
- Foundry Architect for plant layout, logistics and overall strategies
- Project managers MEGA/GIGA casting and post-processing turn-key solution.
- Project managers for electrical/PLC and vertical digital integration.
- Project managers HVAC: Melt Chain, Filters, Heat recovery, Cooling & media.
- Project Managers type bond: Casting Die, Trim Die, Part fixture, GEO stations.
- Launch Managers: Process specialist for part and die design, VP to SOP.
The company was founded by Klaus Hansen, who has been working with all kinds of metal castings since 1995.
Klaus Hansen has extensive experience with iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous casting.
Klaus Hansen and his team have been working on turnkey brown- and greenfield installations all over the world.
The team has extensive knowledge from over 30 OEMs and Tier 1s.
Klaus Hansen is an invited speaker at conferences such as Euroguss, the University of Kassel, and specific conferences on the subjects of MEGA/GIGA structural casting.
